Looks like they're gonna be announcing this at Star Wars celebration in London this coming weekend.
This is going to be great.

I agree. But I would like a stand alone about a "bad guy".dimejinky99 wrote:Trank was to be doing boba fett, so the story goes. the fett story has all but disappeared, doesnt look like its happenning..
we dont need a film about him at all though.
You guys have said this about seriously every standalone so fardimejinky99 wrote:we dont need a film about him at all though.
they should probably let me dictate who gets a stand alone.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You guys have said this about seriously every standalone so fardimejinky99 wrote:we dont need a film about him at all though.

Even the Han Solo film is a hard sell for me..i'm just not that bothered about it. Rogue one is intriguing but i dont see how a Fett movie would excite anyone at all tbh..would probably tank at the box office
Rogue One is the perfect subject for a stand alone. I'm super pumped about it. I am far less interested in any stand alone film based on characters we already know from the saga movies.LoathedVermin72 wrote:You guys have said this about seriously every standalone so fardimejinky99 wrote:we dont need a film about him at all though.
Now a General Grievous stand alone on the other hand... amirite?!durdencommatyler wrote:Rogue One is the perfect subject for a stand alone. I'm super pumped about it. The one exception, for me, and I'm speaking only for myself, is Obi-Wan. I adore that character and there is so much about him we don't know that I would love to see explored. If this thing is happening, I'm excited about it.
I am not excited about Han Solo. Or a Boba Fett stand alone. Or a Yoda stand alone. Or a Mon Mothma stand alone. Don't care.
My hope is that they'll get back to more interesting and saga-adjacent films like Rogue One before they finally grow the balls to go way way way back and give us some Old Republic movies.
