What was the deal with that song they recently gave away? Anybody listen to it?
I like the artwork and name of the record...and the A.M. through Sky Blue Sky Wilco fan in me wants to pre order this, but I haven't really liked a Wilco record in almost a decade.

Star Wars was an improvement from The Whole Love but it didn't have much staying power for me. It's missing a song or two. Sky Blue Sky catches a lot of shade but you can always trump that by saying 'Impossible Germany' or 'You Are My Face'. Even The Whole Love has Art of Almost and One Sunday Morning bookending all the blandness and/or carnie music. A song like Pickled Ginger is fine but I'm not going to come back to that a year or two from now. The best thing Tweedy has done in years was actually the Sukarie album he did with Spencer I think.

I love The Whole Love and Star Wars. Big improvement from Wilco and Sky Blue Sky.

Man, all of Wilco's album titles after SBS are real bad.

Listen to I Might the next time you're playing ski ball at a county fair to get the full effect.

Agreed. And neither of their lesser records are disasters or anything, IMO. They're just below what came before and after.

I remember Nilsson Schmilsson but I didn't make the connection. Thanks, Teeeeeekay. Also, I had to copy+paste your username to ensure I got the correct number of e's.

I'm an easy going dude. Use however many T's you feel is necessary.
Just listened to Star Wars again, man I love it. Is it true they used Muswell Hillbillies as a blueprint?
And I'm ordering Schmilco ASAP. Love what they've been doing.
