The Real World killed TV.

I used to really love MTV. Once upon a time...

When Jeremy and Smells like teen spirit ruled the world. i was maybe 10 or 11 years old at the time. After school id be running around the neighborhood playing with friends and enjoying making memories. however, around 4:45 i would make sure to high tail it home and catch the last 10 minutes of MTV's Most Wanted knowing it would be those 2 videos. I would glue myself in front of the TV and witness the glory.

No child has this sort of foresight. Even if one kid were capable of this level of self-awareness, my money's on it being LV.

I used to record shows off MTV and sell tapes to the church kids in school whose parents wouldn't let them watch the channel

I technically wasn't supposed to watch MTV in the early 90s. But I was a latchkey kid so rules like that were hardly enforceable.

I remember everybody in the 6th grade talking about MC Hammer and then I saw the video and I was like "WTF, this is Super Freak". Then I saw Vanilla Ice and I fell over laughing. A girl with big tits punched me in the face because I made fun of him.
