Ah. Sure. I guess that's something that could be argued. But I think it absolutely counts.bodysnatcher wrote:i think just bc it was a collection of unused tracks from previous albums. but, yeah, i think it countsdurdencommatyler wrote:And why wouldn't we count Coda, though?LoathedVermin72 wrote:Interpol

Outtakes collections shouldn't count as albums! Just like Greatest Hits compilations aren't albums

Re: Bands Whose Last Album is Their Worst
I don't actually know anything about the background of Coda. It's the only Led Zeppelin "album" I haven't heard. What was the intention of the album? Was it more like Lost Dogs or more like Let it Be?theplatypus wrote:Outtakes collections shouldn't count as albums! Just like Greatest Hits compilations aren't albums

It's like Lost Dogs if Lost Dogs had been released 12 years after Pearl Jam broke up.

A couple of special cases:
The Clash
Smashing Pumpkins
Both of these are under the name of a once-great band, but produced by pretty much the lead singer, and not the rest of the band. So it's debatable as to whether they should could - I say yes.
