Pretty sure I've never met a bread I didn't like. Excepting stale bread, that is. But even that can win my heart in a crouton.

that roll you get with an airplane meal is a good, common example.durdencommatyler wrote:I... I've never experienced that bread. The wife suggested she'd be making banana bread today.

Re: Top 10 GD Breads
Tiger/Giraffe bread is pretty legit. I like to get a freshly made, soft white loaf, crack it open, smoosh its insides into a big ball of dough and nibble on the dough, then finish off with the crust.
Also banana bread and corn bread.
Also banana bread and corn bread.

It is good, but unlike more common "loaf" breads that have a little give as far as hardiness and room for error while making, corn bread is either fucking delicious or dry AF and sucky.tragabigzanda wrote:Corn Bread is the best bread

Re: Top 10 GD Breads
Right but you're excluding so many kinds of food, man. That's what I'm saying. And really a good biscuit is gonna go better with most of the foods you mentioned, anyway. Corn bread is outstanding, there's no denying that. But it can't be best because it's too limited.tragabigzanda wrote:Untrue. Non-Asian soups, BBQ, and eggs all benefit from the inclusion of cornbread. Other fare, like steak or whatever you may find at a typical cookout, are elevated by a side of cornbread.durdencommatyler wrote:Also, you can't eat it with a wide variety of foods.E.H.
