Yeah, that was worth seeing. Ed can be a bit of a caricature sometimes, but his reaction was genuine and quite moving.

I've had just about enough of your cynicism toward Arc. :cop:

For as cynical as we've all become about Ed, the band, the fan club, etc. this is a good reminder that the band uses their fame, fortune, and connections to do a lot of wonderful things. They may not be terrible people!

When i first saw the headline i had no idea why he was at a nascar thing. I put off reading/watching the video.

I finally got around to it later that day and it was pretty touching. he was genuinely surprised and in tears about it. pretty cool.

Also, ill never get used to ed being out and about at all these functions in nice clothes. its so childish of me but goddammit i want my Vedder in thrift store clothing! nice collared shirts and blue jeans on stage now.

Lol 8-)

Didn't that guy kill someone... like... run over another driver and murder him... on purpose?

Sure looked like it to me. But, hey, that's ok. He donated 'fine money' for the cause.

What are you the fashion police? It is obviously a black tie event. It is childish, it does not matter what people wear, grow up. He is in his 50's for crying out loud, he is helping save the lives of children suffering and you are whining about how he is dressed. Merry Christmas asshole!

"it was pretty touching"
