She was hilarious and biting and relentless and actually gave a shit about her industry in a very authentic way. I'm happy to have met and worked with her. She'll live on in her iconic role, her fantastic writing, and in her immortal cultural impact.
Rest in peace, Princess. Thanks for the laughs. Thanks for the memories. Fuck you, 2016.

I know we've hit an age (most of us here) where these kinds of deaths are going to become more frequent and their impact, sharper. Of course. I get it. But it really feels like such a fucking massive gut punch this year. It's hard to imagine another year with this level of loss. At least, for me. Unreal.
