They seem to be going all out on promo on this. Every commercial break.
After three girls are kidnapped by a man with 24 distinct personalities they must find some of the different personalities that can help them while running away and staying alive from the others.

For whatever reason - I'm keen to see this. Although I kind of know it'll end in disappointment, but I'm always excited by a new M Knight Shyamalan film.
I guess there may be some type of parallel between him and PJ - with regards to expectation and actual enjoyment

I have a visceral reaction to advertising and promotion. There's just something about salesmanship that grates on me on a very base level and I react very negatively towards it. I want those people to suffer and I want their enterprises to fail.

I think this was pretty good, maybe even great. Without getting too in depth: I am fascinated by the science behind DID and I think Shyamalan did a very respectable job (to be brief), but James McAvoy was the big takeaway. Only one viewing, but I'm fairly confident his work here will hold up as one of my favorite performances ever.
I think the premise looks ridiculous. I think the trailer looks cheesy. But.. for some reason Im really curious about it. Maybe it's just that McAvoy is engaging.
