Other than Song 2 not sure I know a song by Blur. I know I should check them out but where to start?

Listen to 13 and the s/t. Those are the only albums I have really digested and they both slay.

The new(ish) album is fantastic, perhaps even my favourite.

Trag had me a little scared with his posts. I was thinking there might only be one or 2 more quality Blur albums for me to discover. I have found we tend to agree on music a lot... Luckily, I am totally digging The Great Escape, and I suspect I can probably get into the entire discography.

They used to be very big in Europe in the early to mid 90s. Personally I got into them late. I preferred the self titled and 13 period, and played them heavily between 1997 and approximately 2001. Have seen them live twice, in 1999 and in 2013. Still respect them, but feel like they stopped making classics after 13.

Think Tank is the best album. It's pretty obvious.

tragabigzanda wrote:Also Dev, make sure you check out Music Is My Radar and Don't Be, two stellar outtakes from sometime between 13 and Think Tank.

Also also, did you know Think Tank is one of the rare albums that has a secret song if you rewind the CD from track 1?
oh god. now I have to track down all the b-sides.

did not know about the secret track.
