I kinda love this. The song is perfect for Glen's voice and phrasing style. I mean... I don't know. But I might like Glen doing this more than Pearl Jam doing this.

Isn't that what they say about Dylan? The prefer people covering him than his versions? Maybe this means Pj have finally made it into the greats:)
Glens take is all over the shop lyrically but he genuinely likes the song.
He does a version of Smile with the frames which is pretty great. It's on YouTube somewhere(from Seattle I think?) if you're interested.

I'll check that out for sure! Thanks for the heads up.
And, yeah, people (myself included) say that about Dylan, but I've never said that about Pearl Jam. This is the first time I've heard someone else do a Pearl Jam song that I've liked more than the Pearl Jam version.

Don't know if this is the same one you were talking about. But I found this one and I really LOVE the brass in this.

Nah that's from millennium park in Chicago a month or so ago. Look up the frames Moore theatre smile. I can't YouTube on my phone otherwise I'd get it for you. But yeah the brass and keys are class:)
I only just discovered Arbutus Yarns - exquisitely and uniquely shot short concert films, well worth checking out.
I'm lucky enough to be going to the Sydney Opera House gig tomoz - almost as excited about seeing Glen as EdVed

Glen was amazing as always - When Your Mind's Made Up and Revelate brought the house down. He was talkative and funny as ever, and thanked the PJ fan community for embracing him over the past few years.
Was with a mate who'd never heard him before and he was blown away, said he's never been so impressed and moved by an opening act. I think he wasn't the only new fan Glen made last night
