That weird vocal wash at the end of Chinese is such a Ten era moment. I kind of miss them. They would have knocked this song out of the park if they finished it.

Strangest Tribe is nice, but it's one of those songs RM falls over that I've never connected with at anything close to a meaningful level.

I love the shaggy campfire feel of drifting. I rarely seek it out, but when I do I'm happy I did. I agree the single version is better than the LD version, but I like that one too.

I was kind of surprised at how much I enjoyed the Chinese instrumental. It is clearly the weakest of the three songs, but I'm going to give it a vote for what it could have been. If drifting/strangest tribe is close I may change back to drifting.

Strangest Tribe just because I've only heard Chinese one time.

Strangest tribe, but I'm sad to have to vote against drifting this early.

I'm voting for Drifting, but I want to clarify it's the original studio version I'm voting for, not the Lost Dogs monstrosity.

I really enjoy Drifting every time I hear it. I have to really pay attention to get a lot out of Strangest Tribe, but when I do, I get more from it than I ever do from Drifting.

Chinese has never made it past R1
Drifting has made a few R2's
Strangest Tribe made R3 in 2008, R4 in 2015, and R3 in 2016.

Coin flip between Tribe and Drifting. Tails goes to Tribe.

And what an incredible vocal take from Ed on Strangest Tribe. Just perfect.

It's how Ed and the band should move forward.

I can't really see any decent competition for it if I'm reading the brackets right. But it ramps up a bit once it hits the final 4 - looks like it could go up against Fatal/Sunburn, Yellow Ledbetter, State of Love and Trust, Man of the Hour...
