Pendulumorphisis is one of Pearl Jam's cooler instrumentals. Of the Earth is fine, though I think it may be a bit overrated. Puzzles and Games is my great what if, and it'll take a lot to get me to vote against that song.

Of the Earth. Puzzles and Games is much better as Light Years and the less said about Thumbing My Way the better.

How much difference does it make?

Am equally lukewarm to all of these. Puzzles and Games ultimately birthed Light Years ( ) and Thumbing My Way ( ), so I'll give it the edge.

This song still rules pretty hard.

This one is tough for me. Puzzles and Games even in its demo form is pretty great. of the Earth could really be a modern day classic and legit PJ song if they end up figuring it out in the studio.

Never listed to Pendulumorphisis more than once.

As for the other two, I just really don't think there's much to Puzzles and Games besides its' chorus, which I do like. Everything else is either barely constructed (the verse) or works better in Light Years (the bridge). I always wish they'd taken that chorus and written another song around it.

Of the Earth has some significant problems, I think; the initial shine of the song wore off after a few listens, and the different parts seem inelegantly mashed together. But I'd still put it above Puzzles.

Puzzles and Games' last R2 appearance was in 2008.
Of The Earth has hit R2 a coupla times.
Pendulumorphisis has never made it out of the trenches.

I've always been fond of P&G, but I think I'll give the nod to Of The Earth this round.
