Don't Gimmie No Lip is kind of fun, and it actually opened the door to me appreciating Mankind for what it is.

I like the atmosphere in Dead man but have never found the song compelling

I just gave Cready Stomp a listen since I couldn't remember more than the first 10 seconds. That's actually a great instrumental that would have been a tremendous song. I'm so glad I took the time. It gets my vote.

Dead Man wins this one easily. It's a good song, but the other two are throw-aways.

Don't Gimme No Lip's best was a R2 loss to Down in 2008.
Cready Stomp lost in R2 in 2015 against Even Flow (after beating 2000 Mile Blues in R1)
Dead Man has made a few R2's, but never better.

Dead Man, although I have a lot of love for Don't Gimmie No Lip. Dead Man is one of those songs that works on different levels in the studio and live incarnations, despite an identical arrangement. The studio version is atmospheric and placid, whereas Ed's playing on the live versions sound more frenzied.
