Oh my gosh, I am completely torn between NAIS and Of the Girl; they are both very comfortably in my top 20; possibly my top 10. I'm gonna hold off and see which way the wind blows on this one.

What the fuck. I love all 3 of these.

3 great tracks. One of them is utter brilliance. Don't fuck this, RM.

Love all three but I gotta give it to NAIS.

I think I'm going NAIS but that could change to OTG. We're on the top shelf here.

I went with Of The Girl, I think this was my hardest choice so far.

Nothing As It Seems is excellent. A triumph of atmosphere and something pretty unique in their catalog. Mike is amazing. I don't normally care for Jeff's writing but it works here. The whole thing is incredibly alienating and evocative.

Breakerfall is a better song than God's Dice, but it is sort of amazing how a song with that much energy somehow feels a little sterile.

Of the Girl is interestingly musically but I feel like it meanders a bit too much. I generally like for my songs to have some sort of payoff, and Of the Girl just meanders in a space that isn't quite interesting enough to hold my interest for the duration.

I voted for NAIS and feel like it's top tier PJ. I hate not being able to vote for Breakerfall because I love that song. Of the Girl is beautiful and I love it too, just not quite as much as the competition here.

experiencing them open with Of The Girl in 2000 is one of my fonder PJ live memories ... so pleasant ... unrushed ... just groovin along with the cosmos ... wish it were a vibe they had spent more time channeling in their later years ...
