If someone were to claim this was one of the band's best songs, I wouldn't disagree.

:bammer:

Love how frequently this one is showing up lately.

never cared much for this one...it might be one of their best punk songs though.

I can't get by a bad chorus that makes zero connection with me - being repeated ad nauseam - enough to enjoy this song.

I still enjoy this song despite the shudder-inducing use of the title by Pearl Jam fans every time they buy a record. That's how I know it's good a good song.

"I hope my Lightning Bolt Sevens Box ships soon, bro! I CAN NOT WAIT TO SPIN SPIN SPIN THOSE BLACK CIRCLES!" -A Pearl Jam fan, somewhere, this very second

I wish that were true. But ten seconds on the Pit will prove to you it happens pretty frequently.

I think it's my least favorite song on Vitalogy. Of course, it's in quite good company.

hearing this repeatedly in radio single format, but then seeing it live and the rafters melt, you remember a different song than the one on the album. its just a rare burst of heavy pure power in the live set that doesn't let up

I don't think I know any Pearl Jam fans outside of the internet anymore.

Well, I know people who say they are, but mean it in a "When a song from Ten comes on the radio I turn it up" kind of way.

"Last Exit" pretty much immediately made me a lifelong Pearl Jam fan. "STBC" sealed the deal.

I've always respected this one more than I've liked it, if that makes sense.

It does, I feel the same. I don't dislike the song, but it suffers by being stuck between great songs, rather than being elevated.
