Most of the young bucks on RM probably don't appreciate just how great these guys are/were. Especially live. Man oh man what a show.
Also, my dad and I were talking the other day about Halford. Funny how back then all that leather and those chains was just a "cool heavy metal lead singer" outfit. Little did we know...

Yeah the visual side of Priest and Maiden was a real issue for me growing up but I'm too old to care now. The music rocks.

I like this band well enough but I don't love them. This type of metal is a tough sell for me usually.

I enjoy the occasional spin of Hero, Hero. The newer stuff didn't age well, for me.

Their reunion tour in the US (Well, it was Ozzfest 2004) was actually the first concert I ever went to in my life.
