I'd like to run a tournament for pearl jam's best guitar solo/jam. I am now accepting nominations


Rules:

1. Any solo/jam from any studio recording is acceptable (no live)
2. I am using solo/jam very broadly. The Alive solo would count, so would the end jam of Habit, so would, mike's 'pattern' from the end of Force of Nature
3. When you nominate a song please nominate the stretch of time you'd like considered. ( i.e. Nothing As It Seems 1:50-2:16)
4. A song with multiple solos can be nominated multiple times (i.e. Wishlist 1:56-2:22, Wishlist 2:59-3:14)
5. That second Wishlist solo isn't that great, and I am not nominating it (you can nominate it though).
6. Nominations will be open for at least a week.


Request for help:

I would LOVE it if some kind hearted soul would volunteer to assist with this, by capturing the solos in a playable and postable form that could be part of each matchup.

Oh shit... I'd help, but I'm not all that sharp with Windows skills and how to do a lot. I really should take a class or two. I'm lucky with a lot of stuff I do and am able to Forrest Gump my way through a majority of it. I can't even figure out how to merge/overlap pictures for my bootleg artwork that I print.

The solo in Garden pretty much starts at 2:32 and goes until the end, but there was a slight pause before the last chorus, so I broke it up, due to the transition.

I don't normally pay too much attention to solos so I have to ask, what constitutes a solo? is it still a solo if Ed is singing (or making noises) over top?
