Habit fucking shreds.evenslow wrote:Habit outro has a darkhorse shot at winning this whole thing if people aren't idiots. And this is coming from a guy who was never the biggest Habit fan. It creeped up on me slowly, debilitating me until I soldiered on in spite of negative consequences.
Agree with Evac and GR as well. Those two and Habit all share simple (at first blush, bland) choruses that turned me away from the song.PHATJ wrote:Habit fucking shreds.evenslow wrote:Habit outro has a darkhorse shot at winning this whole thing if people aren't idiots. I didn't like it for years, now I love it. It crept up on me too. There have been a few songs like that in the PJ catalog (Evacuation, Wishlist, & Get Right are in the same category) that I just really disliked for a long time and then the switch flipped and now I love 'em. And the finishing minute of Habit is absolutely fucking awesome.
Yep, basically same for me. And MM was what got me listening to those songs again too. See, this is why I love stip and could never kill him.evenslow wrote:Agree with Evac and GR as well. After years of filing them away (and honestly thanks to March Madness), I started listening for the music underneath and that's when it clicked.
They're not bland, they're ear-screechingly awful and corny <_<evenslow wrote:Agree with Evac and GR as well.
