Down was always one of my least favorite PJ songs. But it grew on me a pretty good amount. I like it now and I have no idea why. It kind of reminds me of You shook me All Night Long though.

Good solo.

I went in expecting to vote for SoLaT but after listening to both again its definitely Down. It just does a whole lot more. I was impressed by it.

I really enjoy the Down solo live, but on the record it just doesn't do a whole lot for me or the song. SOLAT gets it.

I like the classic rock purity of the Down solo quite a bit, especially when it speeds up around 2:18. It's a nice, clean, innocent solo, and the best part of the song. The solo in SOLAT feels more exciting, but it may be elevated by the song around it, and it gets eclipsed by the hey nah nah nah nah part that follows. The outro solo in SOLAT is also quite good, but it's not what gets nominated here.

I like Down better as a song but I prefer SOLAT here.

Im a big fan of the Down solo.

Yeah Down solo is really nice and stands out in the catalogue for its looseness.

The SOLAT one is kinda perfunctory, even though it's obviously a great song.
