Most of my long-long-time pings come to get ideas from you guys, and as What has crashed, I'm forced into other avenues, that dammit I have to pay for. I'm focused on 24-bit stuff at the moment. Here's what I've got thus far, by most recent, this year:

1) Spoon: Hot Thoughts - dominant record of the decade
2) Singles (Deluxe) - love the elevated mastering job, doesn't seem too much
3) Mike Watt: The Metro 1995 - nice mix of a Classic show
4) Alt-J: An Awesome Wave - wanted to get their latest, but got out-talked
5) Ben Harper: Fight for Your Mind - thick upfront mix


Anything I'm missing down here in Alabama?

Second the Ben Harper album, that one already sounded great though.

Andromeda from Gorillaz is pretty good.
I love Let me Out and Hallelujah money as well.
