Well there's health and there's taste. If we forget about being healthy for a bit, using too much sugar can be bad for the taste as well. In the cases where it improves the taste (like chocolate cake), I'm all for it. Just shouldn't eat too much of it.

If you put too much sugar in the marzipan, you ruin it.
