This is the most exciting guitar/musical piece theyve done since Binaural maybe.

Got damn! Those guitars in the verse are insane.

the way the matt goes kind of half-time for a couple of bars at the start of the outro to build a little tension before it explodes..

It is incredibly rich with beautiful sounds. And then there's whatever the hell that thing is at 3:01 haha

This is probably my least favorite track on the album. Most uninspired chorus I’ve heard from Ed in a long time.

For the record I don’t think Jeff’s uptempo stuff works. I know a ton of people here love Quick Escape but I thought that was one of the worst songs on Gigaton. Same as My Fathers Son. He hasn’t written a good up tempo track since Ghost and perhaps even before that with God’s Dice. Or Ed does a poor job with them.

Just my opinion.

That’s fine. On the contrary I think his quieter songs are some of the best work the band has ever done.

I love the mixing of the solo - panning left to right before hitting dad center right before he ferociously shreds.

There are some weird harmonics that are so kick ass. The first that comes to mind is around the 0:11 mark.
