Benmont Tench's album is really smooth - You Should Be So Lucky. Great musicianship and apparently recorded in full in 10 days, Bob Dylan-style.

Since Avey Tare's putting out music with his new band this year, it appears that Panda Bear decided to up his game and has a new album on the way, tentatively titled Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper.
