At Riot Fest now. Got here in time to see Elvis Costello, Interpol (currently), then Beck. Even snuck in a few songs by Gwar on a side stage. But man, I've really grown to hate big festivals.

Funny reading this today. I love live music and will go to most any show if I've heard of a band and even mildly like them. I really wanted to see Beck on this Colors tour, but never got around to it. Then this work trip popped up and he was here. Bonus was Elvis Costello and Interpol, but man, I'm either too old or just too over all the shit that comes along with a festival crowd. Mostly it is the amount of people that aren't even paying attention to any music. That irritates the fuck out of me.

I went alone to a lot of festivals and yeah, every year that passes it’s more difficult.

i went to riot fest friday night; weezer was awesome. i still feel weird a couple days later; i blame the "lemmys."
