the opening riff in RVM alone is better than the entirety of cropduster.
There’s so much that’s just plain wrong with this.
feel free to point out a few
The opening riff doesn’t suck.
The time signature isn’t dumbass
Certainly not a piss break song.
"suck" is probably too strong, but compared to pearl jam riff's, its completely forgettable. i would probably have time to take a piss and get another beer lol.
You’d have time for both because … you are the only person leaving to do those things during this particular song?

By the way we’ll never get Cropduster live again so no need to worry.

It's almost like different people have like different tastes, which is weird, but here we are. I can't explain it either.

I got Cropduster in 2008 and I'll forever be grateful.

I’d have gotten it in ‘03 if I’d gone to the Nashville show. Light Years, too.

Have you not heard Light Years live? How many shows have you been to?

Oh. I would’ve gotten Oceans, too.
I have not. I’ve been to 16 shows.

Oceans and Cropduster make sense. But 16 shows and no Light Years? That's kind of wild to me. I'm pretty sure they've played it at every show I've been to post-Binaural.

The two albums they toured and actually came to Nashville (not really Nashville, but considered Nashville) I took a break from seeing them. They were the Binaural and Riot Act tours. I’m paying my penance.
Oh, I’ve only gotten Release one time and Wash three times. Explain that.

Got "Cropduster" once, Chicago 2003. I loved it but it didn't feel rare or unusual then -- just felt like one of the new songs. They played "Light Years" at the same show, I think.
Really glad I caught multiple shows during the RA era, when all those songs that now feel like once-a-tour rarities were semi-regulars.

I am up to I think 23 shows and no Oceans yet for me. 6 of those shows were 2003 so I got I think most of Riot Act, including Cropduster, and one of the never released Arcs, All or None which I remember getting really pissed off when they flubbed it because it’s just one of those songs that needs to be done right.

I love "RVM," too, but it's fine if your frat house favorites don't always win. There's always next year's tournament.

i'm not sure what this means aside from being a bad attempt at an insult. RVM wasn't a single, it's popular with fans and is played at most shows b/c of how great it is. does that mean its a frat house favorite? lol. i don't even care if it wins, it's just the result was so strange. 'cropduster' is fine, but RVM is legendary.
