I need to rebound strongly from this otherwise it will reflect in next week's power rankings, huh?
I smell an opening.
This weekend I'm going to review McP's non-review.

But yes, it was that bad idea guess.
In some ways the review became too big, too important. It could never have lived up to its own pre-assigned legend. That legend was beyond any of us.
Anyway, I can't imagine how to finish a work that births from a notebook page filled with such scrawlings as:
We loved the stories, so we built the device. Now we love the device, and the stories are become worthless.
So farewell, Transformers thread. I leave you now with more of the words of Anne Waldman, knowing that you and you alone will understand what they mean....what they have always meant.
Art begins with a lie
The separation is you plus me plus what we make
Look into lightbulb, blink, sun’s in your eye
How to fuel the world, then die
Distance yourself from artfulness
How? Art begins with a lie

In the light of a movie about a dinosaur whisperer and his team of cartoon pets doing battle with an evil genius monster, the Transformers movies seem measurably less moronic.

Oh man, wait until the Bumblebee spin off hits theaters. It's gonna save this franchise!

Michael Bay's 'Transformers: Age of Extinction' has been declared as the highest grossing film of 2014. It is now a big question whether Bay will also be directing the upcoming Transformers 5 or whether another hand will take care of the movie.

Please, for the love of shit, Mikey - stop directing these so I can stop watching. They're a waste of your talents.

Well, nothing can be worse than the last one so there's that. Unless he plans on making it 4 hours long

Yeah, they've gotta reach out the demographic of "kids whose parents didn't actually love them."

Absolutely not. His talents are best-suited for stuff like the
Bad Boys series,
The Rock, and
Pain & Gain. R ratings. Grounded action. No more giant robots.

Stop using the word talent in association with Michael Bay, please.
