Yeah they picked a hell of a time to release but perhaps that was intentional. Regardless, I may wait a bit longer to play this one to see feedback from the field on the next gen upgrades. I've had the game for over a year but have yet to open the disc on my PS4/PS5 given the horrendous release...

Same. If anything, I want to play it as a living document of the perils of overhauling.

Started playing again. It definitely looks better. I also forgot how much fun the game was. There’s a ton of shit I didn’t even get too.

Was going to ask if anyone had tested out the upgrade yet. Mine hasn't finished downloading just yet. I'm going to be derailed with Horizon for a while but hoping to have this one sitting on the back burner (if it's worth playing)

I finally decided to pick this game up. It's being delivered today, just in time for the big update.

I thought this was pretty great. I even got choked up a bit by the ending(s). I loved the kinda silly "rocker" rage against the machine thing. It's so ridiculous, yet it's so earnest and wholesome (keanu helps here) one can't help but get on board with it. This must be what Eddie Vedder feels when he preaches about whatever in his songs (minus the terrorism).
I was expecting something more modern and irony poisoned, but it felt surprisingly old fashioned. I think they more or less got the cyberpunk genre.
I didn't play much of Phantom Liberty though. It started out pretty terrible, and many of the missions were bugged, so I got the fuck out of there as soon as i could get back to the base game.
