Michael Bay has more talent in his pinky finger than J.J. Abrams does in his entire body

I haven't seen Pain and Gain. I'm not sure I've even heard of it. The Rock was okay. But formulaic and obvious and not a lot of fun. Just middle of the road action adventure. Which is, admittedly, one of my least favorite film genres.
Bad Boys is outstanding, though. Haven't seen Bad Boys 2, but that first one is a masterpiece.

Okay. Weird comparison, but okay.

Mark Wahlberg is one of my least favorite actors. The Rock is also awful, but at least he knows what he is and he has some real charisma. I do like Anthony Mackie, though. And Ed Harris used to really be something. Maybe I'll Netflix it one day.

He can be entertaining and he knows what he is. I respect the man quite a bit really. But he's not a good actor even a little bit. But that's okay. He's not really trying all that hard to be a good actor. He is what he is.

Right. But not everyone knows it and embraces it and makes the most of it and ends up inexplicably starring in a bunch of movies and an HBO series.

We watched an hour and a half of this last night and somehow still have over an hour to go. It was so very very bad.

we powered through the rest of this last night, and I am not entirely sure why.
