The Perfect Storm.
i remember laughing at the end because all i could think about was wahlberg at the end of Boogie Nights--a much better film.
the perfect storm is trash, an absolute waste of time.

If it makes you feel better, trag, in real life I often elicit very real groans from friends when I say "mark wahlberg and george clooney were in town!" meaning that whatever events I'm talking about resulted from "a perfect storm."
It gives me so much joy and makes my friends so mad.
Wouldn't have that without the movie. So, I'm glad it exists.

The only movie I've ever walked out of was Tomb Raider 2, but I've only seen half of it and it was ages ago so I can't really judge it.
I'd say the worst properly financed movie I've ever seen is Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, but it was so ridiculously stupid that it was kinda fun.
I've seen bits and pieces of the Fast and Furious and Transformers movies with my nephew and those are somehow big and stupid without being any fun at all, but I've never watched one all the way through so, again, I can't really judge them.

The Perfect Storm is an awful movie. It’s also about my hometown, was filmed literally a few hundred feet from my house, and I know everyone portrayed in that movie personally.
oof, sorry man.

This gets a pass for being low budget and for giving us the movie Ed Wood.

It also has tons of charm. Yes, it's a terrible movie but it's endlessly rewatchable largely because of its odd charm.

Have you ever talked to him about the movie? Does he think it's a success? Was there studio interference? How does he feel about it?
