Red Eyes is a standout for mine.
Head over heels for that song. Early contender for favorite song of '14

Zu - Goodnight, Civilization EP
Crappy trailer, but I'm excited for this one. They haven't done anything since Carboniferous in 2009.
Heathen, I really dig the Silver Mt. Zion and Carla Bozulich albums (obviously, 'cause I made threads for both), and I enjoyed the Nadja album the one time I listened to it as well. Do you particularly recommend anything else off your list?

Very excited for this one. I hope they press a better quality record this time. Carboniferous was almost an hour long if I remember correctly but pressed on one LP.

Hard to say as I only know the constellation/post-rock side of your musical taste but I'll try. If I had to pick only one it would be without any doubt Otto A. Totland's album, it's a stunning piece of work and I can't recommend it enough. You might also like Golden Retriever, Hauschka and the Sunn O)))/Ulver collaboration. I'm tempted to put Current 93's latest in there as well as there is some fantastic stuff on it but I know David Tibet's style can be a dealbreaker for some people.
(oh and you might be intereste in Bohren & Der Club of Gore, even though I haven't heard this new album yet so I can't say for sure)

I've had this Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks song stuck in my head for the past few weeks:

so my far my favs:
The War On Drugs - Lost In The Dream
Wild Beats - Present Tense
Temples - Sun Structures
Mogwai - Rave Tapes
Noah Gundersen - Ledges
Beck - Morning Phase
Sun Kil Moon - Benji
Phantogram - Voices
John Butler Trio - Flesh & Blood
The Notwist - Close To The Glass
James Vincent McMorrow - Post Tropical
There's a gap between the first 2 and the rest. I think that they're much better than the rest.
2 special albums, for sure

Another new artist on Constellation Records; Hiss Tracts is David Bryant, from GY!BE, and Kevin Doria (aka Total Life), from Growing. They'll be having a record out in May, which will be officially announced next week.
Hiss Tracts - "Halo Getters"
Dense drone/ambient/noise

Thanks for the recommendations. I did a quick browse and found the Totland stuff to be very nice, so I'm definitely going to investigate that one further. Golden Retriever is also quite interesting. I'm a fan of Roger Tellier-Craig's Le Révélateur project, and it seems as though Golden Retriever tracks in a similar sonic world. Maybe I should look a little deeper in Kosmiche some day.

give it some time
there are 2 vocalists also, which one? Wanderlust ou Daughters?
Katy Kerlan was my first kiss
I was only 5 years-old and she hit me with her purse
I had braces on my legs and I almost fell down
And from that day moving forward I've been petrified of blondes
Oh Patricia, she was my first love
She sat 8 rows behind me and I couldn't breathe
I gave her Pink Floyd - Animals when we were in 6th grade
And it was on her turntable when I met her on Sunday
Her mom was gone, we were listening to Dogs
She reached down my pants and discovered I was bald
And when I touched her down there she was blossoming and soft
And the next day in school she ignored me in the hall
Shelly and Amber gave me my first taste
I went down on them both at Amber's parents' place
We were drunk as skunks and high on Darvon
And they gave me a bath and I stumbled on home
Mary Anne was my first fuck
She slide down between my legs and oh my god she could suck
I went with her friend first but I couldn't get it in
And when she caught me with Mary Anne her heart was broken
Mary Anne got cold and abruptly broke it off
For a guy with sweatpants and a pickup truck
I begged her not to dump me and I pleaded no
But her body language told me it was time for me to go
The guy with the truck picked me up and brought me home
I sat down at my piano and my spirit was low
But I pulled myself together and I played a few notes
Now I was the one who got their heart broke
I met a girl named Deborah, she lived on the canal
She made me eggs in the morning, she was such a sweet gal
And we went to Red Lobster and we went to Tangier's
She had motherly love, she was warm and she cared
She was a beautiful girl and she had a big heart
But I drifted away because there wasn't that spark
Oh the complicated mess of sex and love
When you give that first stinger, you're the one who gets stung
And when you lose control and how good it feels to cum
And when you pant like a dog getting into someone
Oh rejection, how it hurts so much
When you can't love the one you've been longing to touch
And they're onto something else and it don't feel right
And you wonder if they're coming together all night
The nature of attraction cycles on and on
And nobody's right and nobody's wrong
All her shakes, sometimes we were drawn
It's a complicated place, this planet we're on
