This was the setlist I saw, in late 1993. I was slightly surprised they did Teen Spirit full on, without a trace of irony or going through the motions.

Radio Friendly Unit Shifter
Drain You
Breed
Serve the Servants
About a Girl
Heart-Shaped Box
Sliver
Dumb
Come as You Are
Pennyroyal Tea
School
Polly
Rape Me
Territorial Pissings
Down on the Street (Iggy and The Stooges cover)
Smells Like Teen Spirit
All Apologies
Blew

Encore:
Scentless Apprentice
On a Plain
Endless, Nameless

This is the show I attended. Kurt was crabby. He probably couldn't score drugs in this shithole.

I should have been born in like 1975.

I did get to see Elliott Smith before he passed away. I was a Senior in HS and the place was 21 and over. The only time I ever used a fake ID.

I was born in '75 it's not so great. I'll be 40 soon and half way to death. Getting to say I experienced grunge isn't much of a trade off.

Well I was born in 1980 so I experienced it I was just a little young. Will be 35 this fall and not to sound morbid but I have had vivid dreams for years I will die at 68 years old. So there is that.

Thread takes a decidedly unusual turn towards atrophy.

Probably better than agonizing over tourney rules, though.

This!

This thread did inspire me to put on an awesome Elliott Smith bootleg from 2000 though.

I'm completely jealous of anyone who got to see Elliott play. :(

All tournaments should be speed tournaments: one-hour time limit. The internets is everywhere.

Eight hour clock is pretty standard on RM. People gotta sleep.
