now we are getting somewhere. I would have to play it through my boom box. Then record it with my answering machine. Stick my phone line in that hole in my computer that looks like a phone jack and call my computer and let it go to the answering machine.

Throw them together in audacity. Then I just host the file on my webserver

Line them up in audacity. Adjust you levels an trim any gaps. Export and convert to mp3. Upload to web server or Dropbox.

I've done a mix for TJ and SNC. If I get time later I'll put em in Dropbox. I like a single file.

BiH, any chance I could get your mix file? If not ill build my own.

Edit: not TJ, Ruddo. But I'll do a TJ soon.

I used Zamzar.com, but I'm sure someone with more know-how can tell you a better way.

well that seems worth learning how to do!

All my original files are in Apple Lossless in my music folder - I converted them to WAV (using XLD on Mac) and then did the editing in Audacity.

can you do all the fancy stuff for free in audacity. I just downloaded it and most options seem grayed out

okay, this looks exactly like the kind of thing I don't really have the time to learn right now, which is too bad.

Here you go TJ. This is how i would have tracked the first 16 songs drafted, cutting master slave out of release and basically removing anything beyond a one second delay from the end of the audible music on the previous track to the start of the next. If someone wants to put it all together they should feel free

Basic editing is fine. And mp4 should be fine.

But stip, for your tourney track list I'll just skip supersonic and leave BS as is.

See there! In My Tree into Last Exit is sweet. Cc With Hard To Imagine is cool. Porch is a good ending better if it is the Ed solo Porch. Also if Last Exit is a second song I would get rid of the tune up, but that is just me. Great Job Stip!

Just right click the file in iTunes and there should be one of the options.

Audacity is free. Start a new project and either import your file or drag it right into it.
