Here you go TJ. This is how i would have tracked the first 16 songs drafted, cutting master slave out of release and basically removing anything beyond a one second delay from the end of the audible music on the previous track to the start of the next. If someone wants to put it all together they should feel free
In My Tree
Last Exit
Insignificance
Faithful
Sad
Release
Rival Cold Confession
Hard to Imagine
Tremor Christ
I Got Id
Corduroy
Immortality
Present Tense
Long Road
Porch
The playlist is nice... but this run... FANTASTIC.

I took a chance and went with all live cuts. One limitation was Last Exit. I wanted to use MSG 03, but it wouldn't upload.

Nah, thanks though. I think those songs work better live. Just kind of how I approached this thing.

Sorry Snc I meant I've d/l'd your choices and made a mix losing the satans bed intro and the Detroit rock city parts.

The song we don't know to to play.
Yeah, some of the transitions were sloppy, but I didn't have the time. Just hope y'all got the gist.

Jambi vs Lament
Enjoyed both lists but felt that Lament maintained momentum.
SNC vs Sgt C
Solid effort from Sarge here from 1 thru 9. SNC had it's moments but had a couple of weaker tracks that lost it for me.
LetMeSleep vs Ruddo
Ruddo's list worked better through speakers than I thought it would. Bit slow to get in the air and then 3 meh heavy numbers. But from OHG it was fabulous.
My list had a few oddballs and similar to Ruddo's I believe the 6-10 run works really well. MITS was a misstep in the selections but lifts after Thin Air (I never really liked Thin Air but I feel that it suffers from following NAIS. After SOLAT it works well.) The slide in mood from Down into Hold On into Jeremy into Immortality works in my mind cinematically. First person narrative until Jeremy (I chose the live version to make it harsher and the applause ironic as often the perpetrators become infamous). The positioning of Immortality after Jeremy was as a sort of suicide letter and the opening chords bring Dead Poets Society to mind. The jump from 1st person to 3rd person and back to 1st was something that grabbed me. Acoustic 1 is the end credits (here I'm thinking the end of Heaven with that long helicopter shot). It was fun to put together and I stopped short of inserting a news grab of a school suicide after Jeremy. It was too heavy handed.
TJ vs Platy
Both good listens but I have to go with Platypus as he created such a beautiful listen. The 6-10 run of TJ's is great though and when I saw your selections I was intrigued.
Good job guys. And here's a link to the mix of Ruddo's that I made up.

Sarge

Tj
The playlists didn't sway my vote from my original rankings, but all of them were good, and these were all closer then the first 4 matches

Alright, now that I've had a chance to listen to each playlist all the way through...
Jambi vs. Lament
I suppose this is obvious, but Jambi's mix is still an excellent listen. I have no issue losing to a playlist this good. I could easily see him winning the whole tournament. Very nice work, man.
SNC vs. Crackpot LMS vs. Ruddock
It is crazy how difficult it was to decide in these matches. Like as close to being pure toss-ups as humanly possible. My apologies to Sarge & Ruddo. No hard feelings, hopefully.
Tj vs. Platy
Also super close. I just love Long Road so Goddamn much. So fucking much, guys.
It's pretty remarkable that out of sixteen playlists, there wasn't a single one where I felt compelled to just reach over and shut it off. Everybody did a pretty fantastic job. And what a great, deep catalog this band has. It was nice to listen to songs I hadn't heard in a few years.
