I bought a deck of Magic the Gathering Fallout cards today. I only play online and not in-person, so these are just for satisfying my unquenchable need to collect things, but they sure are pretty.

The premiere date has been moved forward to tonight (Wednesday 4/10) at 9:00pm EST. I abhor Amazon’s UI, so there’s a chance I may just pirate it so I don’t have to deal with the service I friggin’ pay for.

I really enjoyed the show overall. First couple of episodes I was unsure of it between the weird tonal shifts, gore and some cliche choices like the excessive violence in slo-mo to kitsch music but once it got going a felt more like a fun adventure.

I was thinking about firing up Fallout 4 from my existing save, but the thought of relearning the inventory system made me reconsider.

I started a new playthrough of Fallout 4 and was having a great time. Spent about a week on it and put in about 12 hours.

My son went in and deleted all of my saves. To quote one of my favorite RMers, “Does anybody want a son?”

I checked, there was nothing in my Xbox cloud, so those must be synced with the hard drive. I think?

Happy 10/23. Bethesda is having a streaming event today, and there’s some rumblings about a Fallout 3 remaster. It’s not on the preview schedule, but apparently it was mentioned in some linked documents that were also the first place that an Oblivion remaster was mentioned. 1PM ET today, we’ll see!
