No I never met him.

I met Nick Offerman and had no idea who he was at the time.

I met a lot of respected/well known musicians when I still worked for the Beachland Ballroom. Jello Biafra and J. Mascis come to mind as far as ones I listened to the most. The singer of the Black Crowes offered me shrooms while on the job which I declined. Richard Patrick from Filter and Michael Gira from Swans. Death Grips, who were decidedly not like their public image, on the tour before they did the suicide note thing and stopped performing live for a few years. Lot of good memories from that stint.
