I dont care what people in the future think about anything.

if we're supposed to leave it better than we found it, then none of our music will make it

Not sure where to put this. This sounds about right; I feel like I care a lot less about music the last decade (I’m 46) and definitely tend to go back and listen to the music I found between the ages of my “youth.”

I do think that's a thing. And something I've actively tried to fight against as I've gotten older. And it's worked! A lot of my favorite artists were discovered later (in my 30's and on). So, I think it's a real thing but it also doesn't have to be.
