Ed's voice has been noticeably ragged all year, he seems to have lost quite a bit of range.

I think years of pushing his voice too far and smoking have finally caught up with him.

Wow, what a great experience! Doors are about to open and then you hear somebody say "You guys don't have to line up here, the show is cancelled". So glad I went to Budapest last week..

He treats the Pearl Jam shows like a party. He drinks, he smokes on the side, you just can't do that when your close to 60 like he does on tour. He seems much more focused when he's doing his solo shows. But yeah, he can blame the forest fires all he wants, but that was only part of it.

Ed is getting old and his voice/vocal chords are struggling. That's why. It sorta happens.
