It's a mix of things. I think it's a fun show with some really cool visual ideas

Season 3 is a disaster. Its main problem is that is so boring.

What’s making it boring?

It doesnt seem to have a point actually. I like the 5 years gap between seasons but its mostly unrealistic for most of these characters. Bloated episodes with no visual ideas too. Also losing Labrinth was a huge blow, im not sure what Hans Zimmer is doing really.

I am enjoying some of the ideas in these episodes but the writing seems weird and sloppy.
Like in the last episode,
- Spoiler: show
- Why was Rue at the meeting between Laurie and Alamo? It seems like the filmmakers shot the scene without her and realized they needed to insert some shots of her afterwards. She played no role in the meeting, and they obviously don't trust her. There was no reason for her to be there except for the script needing her to (VERY OBVIOUSLY) record the meeting with her tapped phone.
How come Faye agreed to take a photo of the key, just like that? She seems to actually be in love with the nazi guy. I know Faye is kind of a ridiculous character who isn't very smart but that seemed like such a weird leap.
Cassie's dilemma after being promoted to cast member (again... just like that. They "liked her energy"). No way she would actually consider deleting her OnlyFans when what she would make as a series regular on some TV show is nowhere near what she would make from OF. Obviously they're setting up a further conflict with her leaving Alamo&Maddie's deal but it just seemed completely out of nowhere.
I still enjoy the show as a weekly showcase of Zendaya's acting chops, as she's doing a terrific job disappearing into Rue.

So which one of these is the main problem?

- Rue storyline seems so far fetched at this point. Cassie storyline is ridiculous but worst of all is what Jules has become as a character. she is in new york right? Hoe come Rue can come and go to see her so quick and often?

Elordi’s screen time has been whittled down to getting beat up/maimed by goons.
