maybe there's nothing to be worried about.

This is the problem. Because it's not due until the end of the month I feel the stress but convince myself I can keep waiting to get started. If I wait too long though it's only going to get harder and more stressful. I will definitely get started in 10 minutes and then I will feel better about the whole thing.Coach wrote:maybe there's nothing to be worried about.

actually people aren't saying "vernacular" anymore, it's now "common parlance"dad wrote:also, i think people are saying unhoused or houseless.spike wrote:You have mouths to feed.tree_ wrote:So I guess what I'm really asking is, when something absolutely has to get done, and you've procrastinated to the limit, what is that final motivating force that gets you going? Divide how long you think it’ll take by the amount of days til deadline, then do that much each day. Break it up into a less intimidating project.tree_ wrote:This is the problem. This is like the 4th year I'm doing this project on my own, and I know I can complete it in like 5 very stressful days if I have to. But it's better to get started now, definitely. Especially in case my boss asks me about the progress details. I've had until the beginning of last month to get started and I've already waited until now to fully feel the pressure.spike wrote:Divide how long you think it’ll take by the amount of days til deadline, then do that much each day. If it wasn't for last minute panic I wouldn't get anything at all done.tree_ wrote:yes i know but the question is what is that thing that gets you to do it? the "make myself" partCoach wrote:Sometimes I don't feel like posting, but then I make myself do it.
