I can't stand most of the speakers trying obviously way too hard to sound soft and gentle. It is almost worse than actual parodies of public radio on SNL.

My car picks up HD radio signal and so I tune mostly to my NPR affiliate's HD2 and HD3 channels, "houston classical" and "mixtape" respectively. Mixtape plays equal amounts Lou Reed and Gorillaz, while I hear some really relaxing stuff on the classical channel.
