honestly I think his voice is a little annoying. He just moans all over everything.

Ed Vedder's hurrr duurrr aint got nothin on Cornell's.

Anyone who thinks they sound like Eddie Vedder is probably a huge asshole.

Cornell's career is a scattered mess of music that shakes me to my core and music that irritates the hell out of me, but good grief has this guy written a ton of the former.

Clearly I favor the man's more melodic side but what a mix that would be. I think I'm going to make it. Sometime.

Seasons, Overfloater and Zero Chance are such great vocal takes.

I had said this on the old board, but while Cornell is extremely impressive, it feels like it is utilized much more for the sake of having a range than any emotional reason, or as excessively histrionic (no a lot of subtlety at that end). Which is a shame because his lower register is usually pretty affecting
