Would you tell him that your daughter doesn't like "My Father's Son"?

I think we would need to work up to that with some trust falls.

She really hates that song though. She digs everything else. MfS she starts complaining about after 5 seconds.

What if he straight-up asked you?

"Stip, you seem like a good guy. You don't happen to have a young child with an opinion about the song 'My Father's Son,' do you? I'd love to hear it..."

Would you lie? Sugarcoat it? Or be true to your daughter's critical assessment?

How proud are you going to be when she starts explaining to you precisely what it is that she doesn't like about it?

I'd say she doesn't like it, but blame it on her mom

Smart move. Being an obvious misogynist, he'll have no problem both believing and sympathizing with that answer. He'll probably be like "Man...bitches. Am I right?"

How is her handle on the term "lacks agency"?

I've told her that as soon as she can explain what arbitrary power means, and why it is a bad thing, she can pick her bedtime.

Whipping. It is probably the song that is performed correctly live the least.

Isn't it a requirement for the lead singer to be a dick. It's probably in his contract.

I heard he's gonna opt out this summer to be a free agent.

I like them both a lot. But I really love that frenetic energy in Whipping, especially toward the end of the song.

I changed my vote to Just A Girl. I have a lot of good memories of that song. Mostly because I had it and no one else did. Superior PJ fan.
