it's weird to say, but i think sharpe being forced to retire helped favre's evolution in the long run. brett would just lock onto sharpe in those early years, but eventually, became one of the best at spreading the ball around.Kaius wrote:If Sharpe wasn't struck by tragedy, I think he's a front runner for greatest of all time on everyone's list. Packer or not, the guy was just as or more dominant than Megatron in his first 7 years in the league, and then he gets Brett Favre for the next 10 years? Crazy.

I realize you can't just throw to the same guy every time no matter how good he is, but when I'm watching a Lions game and they're in the red zone I always feel a little surprised when he throws to anyone else.spike wrote:matt stafford really likes to turn the ball over in the red zoneturned2black wrote:I was kinda surprised he doesn't have more TDs, however.
he probably can't resist how open eric ebron is since mega's triple covered.4/5 wrote:I realize you can't just throw to the same guy every time no matter how good he is, but when I'm watching a Lions game and they're in the red zone I always feel a little surprised when he throws to anyone else.spike wrote:matt stafford really likes to turn the ball over in the red zoneturned2black wrote:I was kinda surprised he doesn't have more TDs, however.
As a guy who has had Megatron 4 years running: just throw it to him everytime no matter what!spike wrote:he probably can't resist how open eric ebron is since mega's triple covered.4/5 wrote:I realize you can't just throw to the same guy every time no matter how good he is, but when I'm watching a Lions game and they're in the red zone I always feel a little surprised when he throws to anyone else.spike wrote:matt stafford really likes to turn the ball over in the red zoneturned2black wrote:I was kinda surprised he doesn't have more TDs, however.

The other day Magic Johnson called in to wish Greenberg a happy birthday. Of course CC found a way to say that because he is a HOFer is the only reason Magic called in.Peeps wrote:greenberg was riding his ass the other day.E.H. Ruddock wrote:If anyone says Cris Carter I will ban you.
talking about getting a tattoo CC said he is ok with his kids getting one but if you do then you are out of the wheel.
greenberg looked at him and was like out of the what?
