Release is a beautiful song and can be a tearjerker, but Jeremy manages to be a powerhouse song and better in every way, even in the catharsis department.

Both of these songs are outstanding. Jeremy is more iconic and probably the more interesting in terms of structure and composition. But Release... Man, Release just slays me. Always has. It's my second favorite song on Ten. So it gets my vote. Though, it makes me sick to think that one of these songs isn't advancing.
