Wow, who would have thought that Linkin Park was the realest, angstiest nu metal band of them all and actually meant that shit? Boy, I never knew his backstory until today. Can't believe he lasted this long. Poor fucking guy. Sneaky young, too. Like everyone else, I feel bad for his children. I also feel bad for his fans. Had I been born 10 years later, this very well could have been to me what Cornell just was. His lyrics are in that Blow Up the Outside World wheelhouse.

While I was never particularly a fan it's always sad to hear of someone taking their own life. I've known a couple of people, directly or not, who have done that and it leaves a devastating path.
