There's not really anything I can do when my wife and I decide we wanna go see a movie and there are already no seats left.

I've had the best movie week in a very long time. First I saw Room, then Zootopia and finally Hacksaw Ridge. All three brilliant movies, and all three made me react in some way. Room nearly got a tear in my eye, Zootopia made me laugh (many times), and Hacksaw Ridge made me jump in my seat at the cinema. The war scenes were second to none.

Reserved seating is a miracle. Though, I will say that I tend to plan my trips to the cinema in advance. I can see how reserved seating could affect those that decide to go on a whim or last minute.

I make it a point to watch movies at weird times like Tuesday at 2pm so seating isn't usually a problem.

All i wanna see these days are cinematic experiences...im revisiting films by Terrence Malick, Terry Gilliam, Mel Gibson and Paul Schrader and finding again the love for the craft.
Next this week:
Knight Of Cups
Hacksaw Ridge
American Gigolo
Brothers Grimm
Affliction
Tideland
Hardcore

I don't know if I've ever had as hard of a time finishing a movie as I am with The BFG. Every moment is agony. I don't really even know why. Something about this is triggering a visceral disgust and irritation in me.
