In preparation for the next tournament, can anything on NY's Mirror Ball be attributed to PJ? I'm pretty sure Ed co-wrote at least one of those songs?

they are still neil young songs, or at least they are credited as NY songs, and have to be PJ songs or for the few that they have, PJ covering a song and releasing a studio version.

temple of the dog stuff is out for the same reason--even hunger strike which is basically Pearl Jam with guest star chris cornell

So if Neil Young mirrorball is not included how is Be Like Wind okay. In the liner notes of a soundtrack it states it was preformed by Mike Mcready does that not make it a solo Mcready song, a score for the film. It is not atributed to Pj any more than Say Hello To Heaven on the same soundtract.

I could not figure out why we could not put Sirens on our list, and I still can't unreleased okay, on a album yes. There are people who have talked of hearing this song. I was going to pick it with the hope it would leak before the end of the tournament. Mod Said no

That song is on a studio album by Pearl Jam

I'm just highlighting semantics here. If Acoustic #1 is an issue for you then The End should be too. Both on official PJ releases.

Well they arent the same to me because Pj 20 soundtrack makes it a point in the liner notes to name the writer and performer of each song. Some Songs list Pj as the performer, others list only the one or two people performing the song.

I'm not saying it's the same, I'm just pointing out there there are other potential idiosyncrasies in the selection process. You highlighted Acoustic #1 which I feel is perfectly valid for the tournament. And of course The End is eligible. I was being pugnacious about your point. Stip was quite clear regarding the rules and offers clarification if it was murky.

I Got Shit and Long Rd are two other potential arguing points except that they are official PJ releases. Mirrorball is a Neil Young release even though all 5 guys play on some songs.
