Yeah but that doesn't really answer the question of to what extent there would be de-facto party support in a largely ceremonial process vs. a more open search. Norris is right though, the model is '68--Kamala runs a more or less real primary, depending on the state of the party. I have to imagine she'd get serious challengers based on her abysmal performance this year (and how poorly I think a Biden admin is going to go), even with the VP designation.

Assuming Biden is prez:
- Biden cracks down harder on leftists trashing downtowns than trump, since it's not a good look to keep them around. cover provided by the media.
- No court packing
- Senate refuses to pass anything, including new stimulus, unless they do before inauguration.
- Intervention wars are back on the menu boys!
- They fuck up title IX again, though maybe BLM can prevent this one from happening.
- Acceleration of woke corporatism. You don't get job without pledging allegiance in to the ideology. Enforced by woke commissars wandering the halls. Yes, Mickey, I'm exaggerating a little. Please calm down.
- the worst covid hysterics probably die down
- basically nothing else.

I do imagine they pull the trigger on at least one GOP politician in the cabinet. Probably Kasich but I'm not predicting that.
