The recent success of a few mid to low budget original movies have given me some hope that Hollywood and audiences haven't completely lost their minds.

Guys. Need a little help tracking down a film from a few years back.
It was a female lead. Live action. She lives with her son in an aircraft hanger or by an airport. But then goes into really screwed up trippy animation for the rest of the film and is really surreal.
Can't remember the title at all. Any help appreciated

Like, the fact that Sean Penn called his latest film The Last Face makes me think it's some kind of backdoor sequel to Dead Man Walking. And that bugs me.

What? No. It was just a genuine performance. I've seen people in similar situations to him and it was a very real reaction to what happened to him. He is amazing in that moment
