The list is fine. Fight Club is obviously way too low. And I would have those movies in a totally different order. But other than that, it's fine.

Son (playing computer game): This character is an idiot, but he thinks he's really smart...
Me (half paying attention): Sure.
Son (who is 12): Like that guy in Hail Caeser.

I could see Tarantino casting Hateful Eight actor Walton Goggins as his Charles Manson, but I think it should be Scoot McNairy.

I'd be good with that. I fucking hate Scoot McNairy. So that works.

Has anyone else seen Tommy Wiseau's sitcom The Neighbors? Ho-lee fuck. It is 10x more insane than The Room.

It's the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. I was laughing so hard I could barely breathe.

I watched the trailer and my jaw hit the floor. Haven't gotten around to trying the actual series yet.
They play a CGI interstitial every 1-2 minutes of a T Rex eating a chicken. Why???

What I like about The Room is its earnestness. It is insane, but it is completely genuine. I feel like Tommy bought into his own wacky persona too much after The Room blew up. I am not sure if I would enjoy this

Trust me, if anything, it is even less self-aware than The Room

Been catching up on some trailers today. The Post, Red Sparrow, and The Disaster Artist all look awesome. Not sure what to make of Phantom Thread yet. If I didn't know PTA made it, I would not be interested based on that trailer.

Damn, just watched the Red Sparrow trailer and that does look awesome.
I am so happy Francis Lawrence is doing something interesting. He is maybe one of the best stylists around these days, but he has been tied up in shitty material for years.
